Coyotes prospect flips puck to himself, slaps it home for incredible goal

Just the idea to do this is incredible enough. The precision to execute it is out of this world.

On a breakaway Friday night, Phoenix Coyotes prospect Max Domi scored one of the more impressive goals we've ever seen while with the London Knights of the OHL. Faced with a charging goalkeeper, Domi chipped the puck up into the air, then realized the still-flying puck wasn't on line to hit the net, and redirected it into the net.

We're not sure we've ever seen this in a hockey game. I mean, I've done this in FIFA to avoid a sprinting goalkeeper, but that's soccer, and... a video game. For Domi to use his stick to flip the puck up, slap the airborne puck with his stick, and do it accurately to boot -- well, that's preposterously good.

Domi, a first-round draft pick of the Coyotes in 2013 and son of longtime NHL player Tie Domi, has 19 goals on the season for the Knights to go along with 45 assists.
