Jonathan Toews accomplished two tasks with one pass in the second period of the 2015 Winter Classic.
As the Capitals tried to circle the puck behind the net while retreating into their own zone, Marian Hossa jumped the pass and created a turnover.
The Blackhawks' veteran immediately fed it to Jonathan Toews in front, who then fed it to Brandon Saad speeding into the play.
And at that range, there was no way Saad would miss.
With the assist on that game-tying goal, Toews became the all-time leader in Winter Classic points with two goals and five points in three games played.
