League Two match called off because of hilariously unplayable pitch

Accrington Stanley and Bury were scheduled to play on Friday in a League Two match, but torrential rain wiped it out. The referee postponed the match, largely because it was difficult to see the pitch underneath all of the water.

Once the referee called the match off, he had to submit a form to the league explaining why he did so and marking out where the pitch was unplayable. He did so with 100 percent accuracy.

Unfortunately, football cannot be played in a swamp or on a slip n' slide. Although football on a slip n' slide would probably be the most fun sport of all the time and only most players would suffer serious injury.
