Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 17: Mike Evans

Mike Evans has cooled off a little bit lately. Should fantasy owners expect him to get hot for the finale?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans is finally starting to slow down. In the past two games, he's racked up just six catches, 62 yards and one score combined. That was basically just a half a game's worth of action for Evans while he was hot in November.

Evans also had decent matchups in those last two games, especially in Week 15 against the Carolina Panthers. This week, he'll get another favorable matchup against the New Orleans Saints, who are the eighth-easiest matchup for fantasy receivers. Evans missed his only game of the season against the Saints, so there's no previous data against them as a measuring stick. For what it's worth, Bucs receivers had two scores against them in that first meeting and the Saints are coming in cold, having just given up 20 receptions to receivers in Week 16 against the Atlanta Falcons.

Fantasy impact: Yes, Evans is cold, but the matchup is too good and he is still the No. 14 fantasy receiver in PPR. Start him.
