Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 17: DeSean Jackson

Washington's receiver is coming off a big game. Can he do it again in Week 17?

Washington wide receiver DeSean Jackson has proven to have been an outstanding off-season acquisition for the team. Through 14 games played, Jackson comes into this week with 54 receptions for 1,083 yards, five touchdowns and six games over 100 yards receiving. After fellow receiver Pierre Garcon finished the 2013 season leading the league in receptions, Jackson has completely taken over as the team's No. 1 receiver. Jackson hasn't quite been the target monster that Garcon was last year with only two games over five receptions. However, much of that can be chalked up to the general dysfunction in Washington and the revolving door situation at quarterback.

Fantasy Impact: Jackson has a tougher matchup ahead of him this week in the Dallas Cowboys. Their defense gives up the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. The Cowboys are essentially locked into the No. 3 seed in the NFC so they don't have much to play for. There's a very real chance that Jackson could be going up against the reserve guys by the third or fourth quarter. He remains a WR2 play with plenty of upside.
