NHL schedule 2015: Wild look to regain ground in Chicago

The NHL has a light schedule on Sunday.

Sunday is usually the night the NHL leans back in its chair, stretches its legs and relaxes in the waning moments of the weekend. That's the case again this weekend, as just three games are on tap on Sunday.

Three months ago, a matchup between the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers would be must-not-watch TV. But the Panthers' resurgence is incredibly intriguing as Roberto Luongo and Aaron Ekblad anchor a team battling for a playoff spot. And the Oilers are always entertaining, even if not for the right reasons.

The second game of the evening is the headlining matchup. The last few weeks have been unkind to the Wild, and things don't get any easier with a big game in Chicago. The good news is that they can make up ground in their division with a win, since the Stars lost on Saturday.

Finally, the Winnipeg Jets take their road trip south to face the Anaheim Ducks. Winnipeg has to be running on fumes after a high-octane overtime game in Los Angeles on Saturday. Meanwhile, Anaheim hasn't played since Wednesday. This could get ugly.

Here is the full Saturday schedule (all times ET):
