Julio Jones isn't practicing on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones was not practicing with the team on Wednesday. Jones is dealing with a hip injury that forced him out of Monday's game against the Green Bay Packers. It's worth nothing that it was a very light walkthrough on Wednesday, which means it wasn't necessarily crucial that Jones take part. This could very well be a precautionary move to simply limit his practice reps.
Jones left the game against Green Bay late, after putting up some huge numbers. Jones caught 11 passes for 259 yards and a touchdown. His previous season high was 189 receiving yards, which came in Week 13 against the Arizona Cardinals. He's playing some of the best football of his career, so the Falcons definitely want to do what they can to ensure he can play in Week 15 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Fantasy Impact: Falcons head coach Mike Smith has suggested that Jones is going to play on Sunday, but we'll have to see if he suffers any setbacks this week. For now, fantasy owners can keep him in the lineup as he's a must-start if he's going to play.
