Khiry Robinson is back at practice after an arm injury kept him out for over a month. We break down the fantasy implications.
New Orleans Saints running back Khiry Robinson was back at practice Wednesday, getting in a limited session. It's his first practice since suffering an arm injury in October. He's now on track to make his return against the Carolina Panthers.
Robinson suffered the arm injury in Week 7. The Saints gave no details on his injury, but he ended up missing six games. The Saints are expected to ease him back into action and he should be on a snap count this week. Robinson rushed for 330 yards and two touchdowns on 64 carries in six games.
Fantasy impact: Robinson was a nifty fantasy option filling in for Mark Ingram, but with both Ingram and Pierre Thomas back healthy, he doesn't have a real role in the offense anymore. Robinson won't be a recommended pickup in 12-team leagues and is just RB3/handcuff filler in 16-team leagues. His fantasy window has long since closed.
