NCAA basketball rankings 2015: Top 3 stays the same in new AP Top 25

The state of Iowa hoops is quite strong.

For the second consecutive week, top-ranked Kentucky received 63 of the possible 65 first-place votes in the Associated Press Top 25 poll. Those other two votes again went to the only other undefeated team remaining in the country, second-ranked Virginia. Gonzaga stayed at No. 3, while Villanova and Duke switched places to round out the top five.

These are high times for hoops in the state of Iowa, which has three teams ranked in the new poll. Iowa State moved into the top 10 at No. 9 after its big win over Kansas on Saturday night, while Northern Iowa moved up three spots to No. 20 and Iowa entered the poll at No. 25.
