Ronald Leary had the chance to recover the ball for the Cowboys. He just didn't realize it. For about a minute.
The Philadelphia Eagles stormed back against the Dallas Cowboys, 21-0 to down 21-17. In the third quarter, Tony Romo fumbled on a sack by Vinny Curry, and the ball nestled at Ronald Leary's feet. He just ... kinda let it nestle:
With a short field, the Eagles scored in a few plays to go up, 24-21. Leary probably wishes he'd known that ball was just sitting there.
This kinda happened last week in the Washington game too, although that was with a ball behind the player. Less egregious.
