Kendall Wright is back at practice and hopes to return in Week 15. We break down the fantasy implications.
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright returned to practice on Wednesday, getting in a limited session. Wright is expected to make his return against the New York Jets in Week 15.
Wright injured his wrist in last week's practice and sat out the Week 14 loss to the New York Giants. He still has a splint on his hand but is hoping to play. Wright has been one of the few constants in a dysfunctional Titans offense, recording 51 catches for 633 yards and five touchdowns in 12 games. He's the new No. 1 receiver on the depth chart with Justin Hunter lost for the season.
Fantasy impact: Wright is a decent bet in PPR leagues, but his lack of touchdowns or yards after the catch cap his upside at the WR3 level in standard leagues. With Jake Locker back under center, Wright will be a risky play for the fantasy semifinals even if he's active. We recommend finding a safer WR3 option this week.
