Iowa State beats Texas at the buzzer after trailing for the ENTIRE game

Iowa State didn't lead until the game's final possession.

Iowa State did not lead against Texas for one second in the Big 12 quarterfinals on Thursday night. Not early in the first first, not when it was 2-0, not at all. That all changed at the buzzer.

After a missed three-pointer by Texas' Javan Felix, Iowa State got the ball with six seconds left and the score tied. Cyclones point guard Monte Morris took the ball and drilled the game-winner at the buzzer:

Texas looked like it had this game in the bag. The Longhorns led by as much as 16 in the first half, but then didn't make a field goal for the last eight minutes of the game. Iowa State ended the night on a 12-0 run.

For those paying attention, this loss was a microcosm of Texas' season. Strong start, terrible finish. Two bad shots on the last possession when ISU never should have gotten a shot to win in regulation. This won't look good for Rick Barnes.
