Dwayne Allen got a full practice on Thursday and is ready for Week 14. We break down the fantasy implications.
Indianapolis Colts tight end Dwayne Allen got in a full practice Thursday and is set to make his return against the Cleveland Browns in Week 14.
Allen suffered an ankle injury in Week 11 and missed the past two games. He's had a productive year as one of Andrew Luck's top red zone targets, recording 374 yards and seven touchdowns on 26 catches in 10 games. Coby Fleener took over as the main starter in Allen's absence and was productive with 299 yards and two touchdowns on 13 catches in the past three games.
Fantasy impact: Allen's return makes the Colts' tight end situation muddled again, but his red zone chops are enough to put him back on the TE1 radar against a Browns defense that struggles to defend tight ends. Fleener goes back to boom-or-bust TE2 territory. Really, the tight end position is such a crapshoot that you could do worse than starting either guy in a Luck offense.
