Top-10 ATH Stanley Norman commits to Arizona State at the 2015 US Army All-American Bowl

The Sun Devils continue to recruit with the best schools in the Pac-12 in the 2015 cycle.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Arizona State Sun Devils picked up a significant pledge at the 2015 U.S. Army All-American Bowl in the Alamodome on Saturday when Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra athlete Stanley Norman committed to head coach Todd Graham and his staff.

Norman chose the Sun Devils over his other finalist UCLA by pulling off his West jersey and revealing a Sun Devils uniform underneath.

Early in the process, Norman was expected to stay close to home and play for head coach Jim Mora and the Bruins, but the Sun Devils started to surge in late November and never gave up the lead. Before the 6'0, 180-pounder committed, his 247Sports Crystal Ball stood at 61 percent Arizona State and 31 percent UCLA, with a variety of other schools trailing.

Prior to his commitment, he also held offers from Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida State, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington, among others.

Ranked as the No. 106 player nationally, the No. 8 athlete, and the No. 16 player in the state of California according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Norman is considered a consensus four-star prospect.

With the pledge of Norman, Arizona State now sits at 20 pledges in the 2015 class, which ranked No. 22 nationally and No. 4 in the Pac-12 according to the 247Sports Composite team rankings.
