Bo Ryan's first No. 1-seeded bunch of Badgers could have an Elite Eight rematch with Arizona.
Wisconsin had never been a No. 1 seed before. Their reward? A rugged West Region that could feature two rematches with Pac-12 teams from the 2014 NCAA Tournament.
Wisconsin's non-conference schedule was blemished only by a loss to fellow No. 1 seed Duke, and the Badgers ran roughshod through the Big Ten, losing only to Rutgers (without Frank Kaminsky) and Maryland. But Bo Ryan's team will face familiar foes if they advance: Oregon, the No. 8 seed in the West, hung with the Badgers in a wildly entertaining game in the 2014 tournament, and No. 2 seed Arizona lost to Wisconsin in an epic Elite Eight game last season.
Elsewhere, Arkansas is a surprising No. 5 seed, but gets stellar mid-major Wofford as its first-round opponent; North Carolina is under-seeded as a No. 4 and looks to have a strong chance of making the Sweet Sixteen; No. 7 seed VCU could trouble Arizona in the second round; and No. 3 Baylor has a rather straightforward path to the second weekend.
Here's the full bracket in the 2015 NCAA Tournament's West Region:
