NCAA Tournament 2015: NCAA releases full seed list

The NCAA has revealed the exact seeding order of the 68 teams it selected today. Dayton was the last at-large team to make the field.

With the field of 68 already unveiled, the NCAA has now released its full seeding order, showing its top team, all the way through the team it feels is weakest in the tournament.

We already knew that Kentucky was the top overall seed, with Manhattan and Hampton at the bottom of the list, set to square off in Dayton for the right to face the Wildcats. But what we now see is that the Atlantic 10 runners-up, the Dayton Flyers, were the very last at-large team to make the field. The NCAA ranked the Flyers at 56, with every team below them automatic qualifiers.

This means that had UConn beaten SMU earlier Sunday in the AAC Championship game and stolen a bid, Dayton would have been left out of the field.

UCLA, a team many feel should not have made the field at all, was the last team to receive a bye in the tournament. The four at-larges below the Bruins were all sent to the First Four.
