Winnipeg Jets carve up Blackhawks on great shorthanded goal

Chicago looked so lost.

It's a rare day that the Winnipeg Jets look more exciting and deadly than the Chicago Blackhawks. But with one goal on Sunday, the Jets established themselves as exactly that.

The Jets and Blackhawks had played through half of a wheels-off game when the Blackhawks gained a power play. The man advantage fell apart when Blake Wheeler led the shorthanded Jets on a 3-on-2 assault. The goal that ensued was just downright skillful.

This is a huge game for both teams, since they each occupy one of the Western Conference's two wild card spots. It appears the Jets are more than up for the challenge.
