Andre Johnson remains day-to-day with a concussion. We break down the fantasy implications.
Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson was held out of practice Wednesday. Johnson is in the league's concussion protocol and the team considers him day-to-day. His Week 15 status is still up in the air.
Johnson was forced out of last Sunday's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars after taking a head-to-head shot in the second quarter. He had four catches for 17 yards before suffering the concussion. The 33-year-old has been rather banged up with minor injuries this year, but he's only missed one game. Johnson has 69 catches for 737 yards and two touchdowns in 13 games.
Fantasy impact: We should know more about Johnson's status later in the week, but fantasy owners should leave him out of lineups until he's officially cleared. For now, DeAndre Hopkins will be elevated to the No. 1 role in the Texans' offense. Hopkins is enjoying a breakout sophomore year and will be a strong WR2 play against an Indianapolis Colts defense that could miss Vontae Davis for another week.
