Kerwynn Williams went off in Week 14. Will fantasy owners want to use him this week?
Arizona Cardinals running back Kerwynn Williams was a major surprise on Sunday. He ran for 100 yards in a win against the Kansas City Chiefs and should have plenty of carries go his way against the St. Louis Rams on Thursday.
Despite the good game, Williams did take advantage of a struggling Chiefs defense. While the were fantastic earlier this year, they actually gave up back-to-back 30-plus points games to opposing running backs. This week, it'll be very tough for him to get it going against the Rams.
The Rams have allowed just 74 rushing yards to backs in their last two games and have kept teams under 67 yards in six of their last seven. Chances are they will keep that hot streak going against a struggling Cardinals offense.
Fantasy impact: Williams is just too risky to use on on the road. The Rams are too good right now, so his ceiling is more of a flex in standard leagues.
