The Cardinals haven't been successful in the passing game. Should fantasy owners trust Larry Fitzgerald?
Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald made his return to the lineup on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. He missed some practice this week, but should be on the field against the St. Louis Rams on Thursday.
While it was nice to see Fitz out there, he really struggled in Week 14, catching just four of his nine targets for 34 yards. He looks to have lost a step and quarterback Drew Stanton hasn't really been helping him. This game is also on the road, which hasn't been great for the Cardinals and their Stanton-led passing attack.
On top of that, the Rams haven't allowed more than one passing TD to receivers since Week 6. They are coming off two great games and it's going to be very tough for the Cardinals to put up points on a short week.
Fantasy impact: There are just too many concerns to start Fitz at less than 100 percent. He's more of a WR3.
