It's Johnny Football time! Should fantasy owners roll the dice?
Well, we're finally here. Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel is going to start against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15. The Browns haven't been able to get anything out of quarterback Brian Hoyer and he couldn't even get receiver Josh Gordon going in a loss.
On top of Gordon, Manziel should have tight end Jordan Cameron available for a full complement of snaps. That's big because the Bengals are in the bottom 10 for fantasy points allowed to tight end and the Browns probably won't be asking Manziel to do many seven-step drops. Although, they will be airing it out to Gordon a ton.
On the whole, the Bengals are a top-10 defense against fantasy quarterbacks, so it's going to be a tough situation off the bat for Johnny Football. They're likely going to throw all sorts of exotic blitzes at him, so there is a big down side.
Fantasy impact: In the fantasy playoffs, it's not really a good idea to get risky. Unless you're a major underdog or have serious QB issues this week, Manziel isn't someone you should trust.
