Jay Cutler is coming off a big Week 14. Should fantasy owners ride the hot hand?
Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler had a nice showing against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football in Week 14, throwing for 341 yards and two scores in a losing effort. Although, this line was a little misleading because he filled it up in garbage time with his team down multiple scores.
This week, he'll get a fantastic matchup against the New Orleans Saints, who are the fifth-easiest matchup for fantasy quarterbacks. They have allowed three or more TDs to quarterbacks in two of their last three and have been awful on the road. This game is in Chicago and has a high over/under of 54, so there should be a lot of points. What's more, the Saints have been gashed on the outside, ranking as the seventh-best matchup for receivers. The bad news is that Brandon Marshall is not going to play. That should hurt Cutler overall and limit his upside.
Fantasy impact: The matchup is too good here and Cutler is a low-end QB1.
