Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 17: Eli Manning

Eli Manning should be thanking his lucky stars for Odell Beckham Jr. Should his fantasy owners use Manning this week?

Christmas came early for New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning. Receiver Odell Beckham is on one of the best runs of any receiver in NFL history. Subsequently, Manning is also on a roll and he's climbed into the top 10 for fantasy quarterbacks despite a horrific start to the season.

He's thrown for three scores without a turnover in each of his last two games, with an average of 320.5 yards per game. Manning has also been over 245 passing yards in all nine games since Week 7, and with at least one score in each contest too.

On top of the momentum, the Giants get a home date against a horrible pass defense in the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 17. While the Eagles did shut Eli down in Week 6, they've been awful since then and Beckham wasn't yet at full strength at that point. The Eagles are the third-best matchup for fantasy quarterbacks and have allowed multiple pass TDs in all but two weeks since their Week 7 bye.

Fantasy impact: Eli should be good to go as a low-end QB1 with major upside.
