Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 16: Harry Douglas impresses in absence of Julio Jones

Harry Douglas produces when he gets a larger workload, which is exactly what he saw on Sunday. We take a look at his fantasy value moving forward.

As soon as Julio Jones was ruled inactive in Week 15, Harry Douglas was expected to step up. When Douglas filled in for Roddy White as the Atlanta Falcons WR2, he caught nine passes for 116 yards. This time, Douglas was going to work alongside White, and he posted somewhat similar numbers.

Douglas caught 10 passes for 131 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers, being targeted a team high 14 times. The Falcons ended up losing to the Steelers, 27-20.

Fantasy impact: It's a pretty simple rule for Douglas owners: If White or Jones don't suit up, Douglas must be started. He now has a total of 247 yards through the two games he has operated as the team's WR2. The Falcons face the New Orleans Saints in Week 16. It's a great matchup for any Falcons receiver.

Keep an eye on injury reports as we head into Sunday. If Jones plays at less than 100 percent, Douglas could still be considered a WR3 with Jones used as more of a decoy.
