Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 14: Brian Hoyer

The Browns' quarterback is on a short leash. How can he help fantasy owners out in Week 14?

Cleveland Browns' quarterback Brian Hoyer has an extremely tenuous grasp on the starting quarterback gig. Hoyer's play hasn't been nearly up to par in recent weeks. The veteran has managed a 53.1 percent completion rate and a 1:6 touchdown:interception ratio over the last four weeks. With the Browns very much in contention for a playoff spot, they need to do whatever it takes to win out, which could easily include a switch at quarterback to first-round pick Johnny Manziel. They already switched to him part during last week's game but have decided to give Hoyer one more shot as the starter this week.

Fantasy Impact: The Browns have a nice match up this week in the Indianapolis Colts. Their defense allows the 11th-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. With his uninspiring production and the fact that he could be pulled for "Johnny Football" at any given moment, Hoyer is not a recommended QB2 play.
