The Browns' rookie has been solid as the top back. Can he help fantasy owners out in Week 14?
Cleveland Browns' running back Isaiah Crowell is coming off a letdown performance but has generally run effectively in his rookie season. Crowell finished with only 29 yards rushing last week while averaging just 1.7 YPC. But even on a day where the Browns couldn't get much going on the ground, it was still encouraging to see him finish with 17 carries 44 total yards on the day. Crowell is now averaging 13.75 carries per game over the last four weeks and isn't in any danger of losing significant work. Fellow running back Terrance West drew the ire of head coach Mike Pettine last week after coughing up a fumble that Buffalo Bills defensive end Jerry Hughes managed to recover and take to the house.
Fantasy Impact: Crowell has a favorable match up this week in the Indianapolis Colts. Their defense gives up the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs. Despite his "questionable" tag, look for Crowell to start and bounce back from last weeks performance. He's worth the play as a solid RB2.
