UEFA Europa League draw results: Round of 32 features some tasty ties

This couldn't have gone much better.

The Europa League draw was made Monday, and the Round of 32 features some very watchable matchups. No one got the short end of the stick quite like defending champions Sevilla, who take on Borussia Mönchengladbach in the best tie of the round.

Wolfsburg, the Bundesliga's other representative, got a tough draw as well. They'l take on Sporting, who dropped down from Champions League. Of the teams joining from that competition, the best draw probably went to Ajax, who will like their chances against Legia Warsaw.

For the British sides, this draw was a bit of a mixed bag. Everton will be slight favorites against Young Boys, but no one will expect Celtic to get by Inter Milan. The most even of the matches involving British sides is Tottenham Hotspur's. It's tough to pick a favorite between them and Fiorentina.

Because the Europa League has one more knockout stage than the Champions League, it's a bit accelerated. These ties will start the same week as Champions League, February 19, but conclude the following week. The Round of 16 will then conclude the same week as the Champions League Round of 16.
