The Buccaneers' rookie receiver continues to make plays. Is he worth the start in Week 15?
Tampa Bay Buccaneers' wide receiver Mike Evans provided fantasy owners with another gem last week, finishing with a 4/45/2 line. The rookie has predictably struggled to maintain the pace from his impressive streak from Weeks 9-11 where he dropped lines of 7/124/2, 7/125/1 and 7/209/2, respectively. However, the seventh-overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft has still found the end zone three times in the last three weeks since and now has 10 touchdowns. While he still has to deal with the inconsistency of quarterback Josh McCown, Evans has proven that he's dripping with play-making ability and isn't even close to hitting his ceiling.
Fantasy Impact: Evans will have a tougher matchup then most realize with the Carolina Panthers. While their defense gives up the 13th-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers, the unit has dramatically picked up it's play in recent weeks. With eight touchdowns in his last six games, Evans still has no business being on anyone's bench. He remains a WR2 with healthy upside.
