Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 17: DeAndre Hopkins

The Texans sophomore receiver hasn't been able to match his outstanding midseason production in recent weeks. Is he worth the start in Week 17?

Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins hasn't been able to finish out his second season on the strongest note. Last week, he finished with five receptions for 38 yards. This marked the fourth time in the last six weeks that he finished with fewer than 80 yards receiving and the fifth time in the same span that he finished without a touchdown. Of course, the one outlier in that span was his career game in Week 13 when he finished with 9/238/2. While the former first-round pick has plenty of playmaking ability, it's clear that he won't consistently produce with a limited quarterback and fellow receiver Andre Johnson eating up a lot of the targets.

Fantasy Impact: Things won't be too difficult for Hopkins match up wise in the Jacksonville Jaguars. Their mediocre defense gives up the 14th-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. With quarterback Case Keenum under center again, Hopkins will be hard to trust as more than a WR3.
