Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 17: Jarvis Landry

The Dolphins rookie receiver is coming off a rough outing. Is he worth the start in Week 17?

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry has been heavily involved in the offense but couldn't get it going last week, finishing with eight receptions for 31 yards on nine targets. He also lost a fumble in the fourth quarter, his fourth of the year, which resulted in a touchdown a couple plays later. The rookie has proven to be a useful asset in PPR formats however, averaging 7.4 receptions per game over the last five weeks. Landry has also scored five times but none of them have been in the last four games. When one factors in his kickoff and punt return abilities, Landry has exceeded all expectations for a player who wasn't drafted in most fantasy leagues.

Fantasy Impact: Landry should have a much easier go of it this week against the New York Jets. Their defense gives up the 12th-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Landry finished with eight receptions for 68 yards that last time they play in Week 13. He remains a safe WR3 play lacking significant upside.
