Marshawn Lynch didn't get the ball because he doesn't talk to the media

The real reason the Seahawks didn't go Beast Mode.

We're required to remind you that these strong takes are SATIRE. Sorry, not sorry. All spelling errors are intentional, we think. -Ed.

PHOENIX -- Well I guess were all Monday Morning Quaterbacking this thing and pointing fingers at anyone with a butthole and a pulse. I've heard people blame Pete Carrol. I've heard people blame Darrell Bevell. Heck, Ive even heard people blame global warming probably. (By the way isnt it ironic how scientists think cant predict todays weather but they think they can acurateley predict centurys of recorded temperatures from the past?)

This was not about a potental contract coming for Lynch. This was not about making Russel Wilson look good. This was about one thing pure and simple: if Marshawn Lynch had treated the media better he would of got the ball.

The Seahawks had first and goal on the one yard line and instead of giving the ball to ironically a future Jaguar whose quads are as big and violent as Voltrons, they ran a play that looked like the entire team was trying to imitate the left shark from Katy Perry. But what most people are missing about this is the fact that they Seahawks had no choice but to take the play out of Marshawn Lynchs hands given how he has treated the members of the NFL media. If you cant trust your "stud" Runningback to face tough questions- how can you expect him to be the answer.

What comes around goes around Marshawn. When you were saying "You know why Im here" maybe you should of been thinking about if YOU know why WE'RE here. Your job is dependent on us not the other way around. Pete Carroll taking the ball out of his hands was a way of acknowleging that we in the media are really his bosses since we pay his salary by getting paid a salary to write about things he does at his job. Even if there were no NFL players, the publics unsatiable thirst for NFL news and takes can not be quenched. This league is unstoppable to the point where it dosent even need athletes anymore as long as its reporters can deliver the goods. To think otherwise shows a extreme arrogance on his part.

We in the media are more powerfull then anyone else in the league and we have tremendous influence on everything. Theres a old media saying I picked up on this week in Arizona- "If you cross us at the podium, youll never cross a goal line again." And its true. If you dont give the quotes, you dont get the totes. You cant be the face of your franchise when you dont have a mouth.

Can you imagine if Marshawn had managed to score that touchdown even though he wont speak to reporters? He might of been MVP and he would of siked out Goodell on the handshake and grabbed his dick which is technicaly sexual assault which goes strongly against the leagues new anti-sexual assault positon. He would of taken the mic, farted into it and then dropped the mic. I bet he would of thought it was funny too. The NFL allready had one Misdemeanor at halftime they coudnt afford one in the postgame too.

Kudos to Darrell Bevell for recognizing this. I wouldnt be suprised if right now there was a secret award ceremony going on like in the CIA where Goodell just privatley meets with him and pins a tiny lapel pin on him for protecting the shield against the worst potental PR disaster in the history of the league.
