The former Western Conference foes will square off at the United Center on Wednesday.
Lars Eller might want to consider a restraining order against Ottawa Senators defenseman Eric Gryba. Whenever the two come near each other, bad things happen to the Montreal Canadiens center.
On Wednesday, the two were advancing towards center ice at the same time when Gryba threw up his elbow at the last second and very nearly connected with Eller's head.
If that visual seems familiar, it should. The same thing happened in the playoffs in 2013. Only that time, Gryba's elbow did connect and Eller suffered a pretty severe concussion.
We don't know what Eller did to incur Gryba's wrath, but the near-collision on Wednesday had to be enough to make Habs fans cringe.
