Here is something unusual and pretty scary that happened on a flight from Los Angeles to Oregon containing the Oregon State men's basketball team, the Portland women's basketball team, and one very unlucky woman:
Tough week for Beavs just got tougher. A scorpion just bit woman two rows in front of @waynetinkle. Plane had to go back to LAX. True story.

Coach Tinkle was just two rows behind the woman that was stung. Paramedics have just come aboard. http://ift.tt/1vLQVy4

Well this is the first time I've been on a plane and someone gets bit by a scorpion......

Scorpion on our plane and now we're delayed ☺️

Ya so there's a scorpion on our plane...
— Dylan Livesay (@DLive_Rifle) February 15, 2015 First and foremost, I hope the passenger is feeling okay and gets free air travel for the rest of her life.
I'd also like to express the opinion that scorpions should not be allowed to ride planes. Scorpions are terrorists in their very nature and have no good reason to be taking even domestic flights. What, did that scorpion have relatives in Oregon? I really doubt it. No scorpions on planes, period.
