Seahawks, Patriots favored to meet again in 2016 Super Bowl

The Seahawks and Patriots are favored to meet in the Super Bowl again next year, although oddsmakers are going with Seattle this time around.

The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots played an instant classic in Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday and the oddsmakers are pegging the two teams as the favorites to find their way to the big game again next season.

According to Bovada, the Seahawks are the favorite to avenge their dramatic loss and win the 2016 Super Bowl with 5/1 odds, while the Patriots are just behind with 7/1 odds. The Green Bay Packers follow closely behind with 8/1 after losing the NFC Championship to Seattle in dramatic fashion in January.

Only three other teams have odds better than 20/1 for a Super Bowl victory in 2016, with the Denver Broncos listed at 10/1 and the Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys each at 14/1.

The tremendous longshots to make noise in 2016 are the Jacksonville Jaguars and Oakland Raiders, each listed at 200/1 after both teams finished the 2014 season with 3-13 records.
