Busting Barack Obama's bracket and mocking him for it is the NCAA Tournament's newest tradition.
14-seeded Georgia State upset 3-seeded Baylor on a wild game-winner. Coach Ron Hunter's locker room reaction? Calling out Barack Obama for not picking the Panthers:
8-seeded NC State upset 1-seeded Villanova to book a Sweet 16 appearance about a month after everybody assumed they wouldn't make the NCAA Tournament. Star Anthony "Cat" Barber's locker room reaction? Calling out Barack Obama for not picking the Wolfpack:
Maryland beat Princeton in the NCAA women's tournament, ending their undefeated season. The team's locker room reaction? Putting a Maryland jersey on a cutout of Barack Obama and then hitting it a bunch of times.
It used to be teams would yell "NOBODY BELIEVED IN US," but apparently we've moved on to "ONE PERSON WHO SPENT LIKE TWO MINUTES TOPS FILLING OUT A BRACKET ON TV DOES NOT BELIEVE IN US."
It seems politicians have two choices:
1) Make honest sporting picks while filling out a bracket, creating anger, disappointment, and a desire for vengeance amongst teams you did not pick
2) Pretend to be a fan of multiple teams, get booed viciously by fans of both teams
