Chiefs safety Eric Berry's season has taken a scary turn. Doctors believe a mass in Berry's chest may be lymphoma, and he has been ruled out for the rest of the year as he undergoes testing and begins recovery.
Everyone in and around football is pulling for Berry, and his alma mater, Tennessee, will wear special helmet patches in his honor during Saturday's game against Vanderbilt. The patch features "29 STRONG" -- Berry's jersey number -- as well as the message "VFL": "Vol for life."
Full updates on Berry's situation can be found at Arrowhead Pride.
