Washington tight end Jordan Reed is questionable for Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Washington tight end Jordan Reed is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. Reed is dealing with a hamstring injury that forced him out of Washington's Week 12 game. That said, he's been a full participant in practice all week and it would be a big surprise if he were to somehow miss the game, despite the questionable designation.
The questionable designation is supposed to denote a 50-percent chance of playing or missing the game. That doesn't seem accurate here, as Reed looks as close to 100 percent as a player can look 13 weeks into the NFL season. But whatever the case, he hasn't had a great season to this point He had one game early on where he caught eight passes for 92 yards, but he has no touchdowns and just 229 yards on the season.
Fantasy Impact: Reed is part of a tight end class which has under-performed as a whole this year. Of course, there are worse ideas and options than starting him against the Colts Sunday. He always has an opportunity to break out and have a big game and it's hard to imagine there's too many other available TE options out there on the market at this point.
