In two plays, we saw a failed onside kick and a backwards lateral. WHAT IS GOING ON.
Wild things happen when Auburn and Alabama play. Today, it might be 60 minutes of wild things. On the opening kickoff, Alabama tried a surprise onside kick. It did not work:

On the second play of the game, Auburn threw a swing pass to their running back ... but it was actually a lateral, and RB Roc Thomas couldn't get on top of it:

That gave Alabama the ball, and the Tide quickly scored a TD to go up 7-0.
