Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 17: Charles Johnson

The Vikings' receiver has been a pleasant surprise. Could he be a difference maker for fantasy owners in Week 17?

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Charles Johnson has been a nice surprise for the team and fantasy owners. Johnson didn't get any playing time until Week 5, but has since managed to overtake disappointing 2013 first-round pick Cordarrelle Patterson as the team's top receiver in the short time span. Johnson's best game of the season came in Week 14 against the New York Jets where he finished with four receptions for 104 yards and one touchdown. While he's coming off a 3/38 line in his most recent outing against Miami Dolphins, Johnson sees more than enough targets on a weekly basis to make up for his last outing.

Fantasy Impact: Johnson will see plenty of opportunities to make plays against the Chicago Bears. Their defense gives up the 11th-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Look for quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to continue to target Johnson early and often. He remains on the WR3 radar.
