JUST LIKE THEY DREW IT UP.
The Milwaukee Bucks were down two with a few ticks on the clock, facing a jump ball. They won it, but Jerryd Bayless missed their first attempt, and it seemed like their night was over. Then:
It's ridiculous that the Bucks got a jump ball. It's ridiculous that Zaza Pachulia tracked it down Bayless' miss. It's ridiculous that his random toss back onto the court ended up in Khris Middleton's hands. It's ridiculous that Middleton -- who was 4-for-16 on the night, 1-for-7 from three -- drilled the three, without hesitation. It's ridiculous that this is Middleton's second-most ridiculous game-winner of the year.
But there you have it, and the Bucks have a win. The Miami Heat, who are only 1.5 games ahead of the ninth spot in the Eastern Conference standings, really could've used a win. And they were so close.
