James Harden drops 50 on the Nuggets, including this silly three-pointer

While the rest of the world was watching college basketball, James Harden went out and dropped 50 points on the Denver Nuggets. (Cue the "BUT NOBODY IN THE NBA PLAYS DEFENSE" responses). If an NBA player scores 50 points on the first night of March Madness, does he really make any sounds? We say yes.

Especially unfair: this is how Harden got to the half-century mark.

For some perspective, here's how Harden's scoring output compared to other Texas teams that played Thursday:

  1. Texas Southern: 72

  2. SMU:

  3. Baylor: 56

  4. JAMES HARDEN: 50

  5. Texas: 48

This was Harden's unique way of celebrating with Patrick Beverley called him an MVP.
