Because the Spurs lost Game 1 to the Clippers played basketball last night, Gregg Popovich was in no mood to suffer boring questions from reporters:
I think Popovich sometimes lets his schtick go too far -- shooting down interesting, worthwhile questions -- but he's got kind of a point here: If you ask a question that could conceivably be answered with a word or two, you might get a word or two in response. From Pop, you definitely will. I'm not so sure why he's so offended by an inquiry about what the Spurs need to do better in the next game, though.
Anyway, time to go eat and drink.
