Boston University and Yale will kickstart the tournament.
The highly-anticipated 2015 NCAA men's Division I hockey tournament kicks off on Saturday with two of the tourney's best teams getting it started with a bang.
Jack Eichel and the Boston University Terriers play the opening game of the tourney against Yale at 2 p.m. ET on ESPNU. BU is fresh off an impressive run through the Hockey East tournament, including a 5-3 win over the University of Massachusetts-Lowell in the finals. Yale's best chance at upsetting the Terriers is to find a way to shut down Eichel, which is easier said than done.
Later on, Zane McIntyre and North Dakota will take on the Quinnipiac Bobcats at 8 p.m. on ESPNU. McIntyre is one of the best goalies in the nation, as his 2.05 goals against average and .929 save percentage might suggest. But North Dakota lives and dies on his shoulders. If the Bobcats exploit that, they might have a chance at a big regional upset.
