Brad Keselowski speaks out against vanilla athletes, political correctness

Brad Keselowski lamented on Twitter why athletes can’t be more outspoken and share more of their personality with the public.

Brad Keselowski has never been shy about voicing his opinion on matters related to NASCAR and can often be quite candid. It's an approach opposite of many drivers, who are leery of saying something that could be construed as offensive to their fans or sponsors.

And on occasion Keselowski will step outside the realm of NASCAR and offer an opinion not related to his field of expertise. Early Thursday morning the 2012 Sprint Cup champion took to Twitter to share his thoughts on what happens when he speaks out on subjects other than racing and how many are critical of him doing so.

The first tweet is in reference to comedian Patton Oswalt, who, in a series of tweets earlier this week, mocked political correctness and defended Trevor Noah, the new Daily Show host who had some old controversial tweets discovered.
