NCAA Tournament First Four Wednesday betting preview and stats

Dayton will take on Boise State on its home court on Wednesday in the First Four while Robert Morris plays North Florida.

The Dayton Flyers went 21-3 SU this season in 24 games as the betting favorite. The Flyers will look to continue that trend on Wednesday when they take on the Boise State Broncos in the First Four.

Dayton is a 4-point favorite over Boise State according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Flyers might not have been such a big favorite at a neutral location, but with the First Four play-in games played in their arena every season Dayton is going to be tough to beat at home.

Both Dayton and Boise State finished the season with matching 25-8 SU records, but Boise State held the edge ATS at 19-11 over Dayton at 16-15. The Broncos were relentless down the stretch with a 15-2 SU and 14-3 ATS record that included a 4-0 SU and ATS record as the betting underdog. Boise State is 7-1 ATS in its last eight games as an underdog.

The total went OVER in seven of Dayton's last 10 games of the season and in each of Dayton's last six games at home. The Flyers were a perfect 16-0 SU at home this season and went 7-2 ATS over its last nine games at home. Dayton is also 6-3 ATS in its last nine NCAA Tournament games. The winner of Wednesday's game will play against No. 6 Providence in the Round of 64 on Friday.

Boise State and Dayton are the late game on Wednesday at Dayton Arena. In the early game, the Robert Morris Colonials square off against the North Florida Ospreys.

North Florida is listed as a 2.5-point favorite for their First Four betting matchup against Robert Morris. The Ospreys ended their season on an impressive 16-2 SU run.

The Ospreys were the top team in the Atlantic Sun this season, finishing the year with a 12-2 conference record. Robert Morris wasn't on too many radars after a 2-4 SU slump in February, but the team picked up its play down the stretch to finish with a 6-0 SU record and a 3-0 ATS record in conference tournament play to lock up the Northeast Conference. The winner of this game will play No. 1 Duke on Friday.
