NIT bracket 2015: Temple, Colorado State among 1 seeds

Temple and Colorado State were among the last teams out of the NCAA Tournament and have been rewarded with 1 seeds in the NIT. The full field is here.

It's certainly not the NCAA Tournament, but the 2015 NIT field is one worth watching. The 32 teams were revealed on Sunday night, with Temple, Colorado State, Old Dominion and Richmond receiving No. 1 seeds.

Defending national champion Connecticut received a 4 seed and will host 5 seed Arizona State on Wednesday evening.

The Huskies are in Richmond's bracket, with Miami (FL) the 2 seed in that region. The Hurricanes blew out Duke in Durham earlier this year.

Murray State, which won 25 straight games this season before being upset in the Ohio Valley tournament, was not awarded an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament field, but did get a 3 seed in the NIT. The Racers will host 6 seed UTEP in the first round.

The first three rounds of the NIT will be played on campus sites, with the semifinals and finals at Madison Square Garden on March 31 and April 2.
