Printable NCAA bracket 2015: 8 more spots open for the Sweet 16

The other half of the Sweet 16 will be set on Sunday. Print out your bracket before it all starts.

The 68-team NCAA Tournament field is about to be whittled down to 16 teams. Eight games on Sunday will decide the final teams to advance to the regional semifinals, to be played next Thursday and Friday.

From in-state matchups to 4-5 battles, the games on Sunday are filled with intrigue. Before any of them get going, be sure to print out a bracket to follow along with the action. We've updated the bracket through the games on Saturday, so feel free to fill in your picks going forward and pretend you've been perfect up until now.

With a mostly chalk Friday, the games on Sunday will be especially tough to predict. In particular, the day will end with a pair of 4-5 matchups, with the winners likely advancing to play No. 1 seeds. No. 4 Maryland and No. 5 West Virginia both survived tests from upset-minded opponents and will meet at 8:40 p.m. ET in Columbus. An hour later, No. 4 Louisville will play No. 5 Northern Iowa. The Cardinals escaped against UC Irvine with a two-point victory on Friday, while the Panthers demolished Wyoming, 71-54.

But you don't have to wait until the end of the day for fun games. Perhaps the game of the day will tip at 5:15 p.m., featuring a pair of in-state foes. No. 2 Kansas will play No. 7 Wichita State for the first time since 1992, and many say the Shockers can pull off the upset.

A couple hours later, 2 seed Gonzaga will look to advance to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2009, but it may not be an easy task. The Bulldogs will face No. 7 Iowa, which demolished No. 10 Davidson in the most lopsided 7-10 game ever in the NCAA Tournament.

Two 1 seeds will also be in action. Duke and Wisconsin each had little trouble taking care of 16 seeds in the second round, but they'll both get much stronger opponents on Sunday. The Blue Devils match up with San Diego State at 2:40 p.m., while the Badgers draw Oregon at 7:45 p.m.
