The Tar Heels forward hurt his knee in the Third Round against Arkansas.
North Carolina does not expect starting forward Kennedy Meeks to play Thursday night when the Tar Heels face Wisconsin in the Sweet 16, head coach Roy Williams said on Monday.
On radio show, UNC coach Roy Williams says about Kennedy Meeks: "It's not good. He did not practice today ... I don't think we'll have him."

Meeks sprained his left knee in North Carolina's 87-78 win over Arkansas in the Third Round. He started 31 games for the Tar Heels this season, averaging 11.6 points and 7.4 rebounds per contest.
Though it looks like North Carolina will be down a player, Williams was careful to say that Meeks hasn't been ruled out entirely. If Meeks is unable to go, the Tar Heels may start Isaiah Hicks in his place. Hicks started three games this season and would would likely be tasked with helping to defend Wisconsin star Frank Kaminsky.
The Tar Heels and Badgers play Thursday night in Los Angeles, with tipoff coming around 7:45 p.m. ET.
