Who's better? The Blazers or the Rockets?

If you had to bet your life on only one of those two teams advancing in the playoffs, who would you take? That's a point of contention on this week's Limited Upside podcast.

The Western Conference is loaded. There's Golden State running away with the lead, Memphis staggering directly behind them and several other teams bunched together. Deciding which teams will emerge from the pack is a fools errand.

But we're going to try! Specifically, we're going to argue about the next two teams in the standings: the Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers.

Both lost key pieces due to injury or free agency, yet both have chugged along at as good a pace as they set last year when they collided for a tight first-round series. It's possible both advance to the second round of the playoffs, but with juggernauts like the Spurs, Clippers and Thunder lurking as lower seeds, it's unlikely. Which of the two has the best chance?

That's what we argue about on this week's Limited Upside podcast. We're joined by Michael Pina, freelance writer for Rolling Stone, FOX, ESPN and a hundred other sites. Here's the full rundown:

  • Are the Celtics ... good? Should they want to be good?

  • Prada likes the Blazers, but Pina and Ben like Houston. Who is better?

  • Why are the Jazz suddenly surging? Is Rudy Gobert capable of blocking traffic?

  • Prada and Ben argue about Enes Kanter for the 700th time.

  • Are the Cavaliers putting themselves in a tough spot by not using Kevin Love more? What would that even entail anyway?

Plus, Pina tells a great Kevin Garnett story, Ben issues a Kyrie Irving mea culpa and Prada makes another stupid bold prediction.
