Final Four Betting Preview: Duke Blue Devils vs. Michigan State Spartans odds

No. 1 Duke and No. 7 Michigan State clash in the Final Four in a battle between two historically strong programs.

The No. 1 Duke Blue Devils are a perfect 4-0 SU and ATS in NCAA Tournament play so far. The Blue Devils will try to stay perfect as the favorite in their Final Four matchup against the Michigan State Spartans at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday.

Duke is a 5-point favorite over Michigan State at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Michigan State also enters this game with a 4-0 SU and ATS record in tournament play, but only one team can escape this game with a 5-0 SU record.

In what was supposed to be a thrilling offensive showdown against one of the best offensive teams in the country, No. 1 Duke completely shut No. 2 Gonzaga down to run away with a 66-52 win. The play of Duke's defense has been outstanding all tournament long, allowing only 53.5 points per game en-route to winning three of the team's four games by double digits.

With the win, Duke improved to 8-1 SU and ATS over its last nine games. The Blue Devils are 3-1 SU and ATS in four March Madness trips to the Final Four since 1999.

The game between Duke and Gonzaga may not have lived up to the hype on Sunday but No. 4 Louisville vs. No. 7 Michigan State certainly did. The two teams battled their way into overtime before the Spartans eventually pulled away with a 76-70 win and cover.

Michigan State is 12-3 SU and 11-4 ATS over its last 15 games. The Spartans are 1-3 SU and ATS in four Final Four appearances since winning the NCAA championship back in 2000.

The UNDER is 6-0 in Duke's last six games and 2-1 in Michigan State's last three games. Saturday's total is set at 139.5 points for the Blue Devils vs. Spartans betting matchup.

In the last meeting between a seventh-seed and a No. 1 seed, No. 7 UConn upset No. 1 Florida as a 7-point underdog in the Final Four. Michigan State will look to repeat that feat, but it won't come easy against a Duke team that is playing well at both ends of the court.
